The structure, florístic composition and ecology or the mesophilous woodland in northe rn Catalanidic range are described. The variability of these woodlands in the different parts or the mountains is analyzed. The following new sintaxa: Doronico-Fraxinetum, represented by the subassociations doronicetosum, metampyretosum. vincetosum, festucetosum, luzuletosum and aretosum, are studied.
