Abstract

Astragalus exscapus L. is indicated for the first time from Spain. This species is known from C and SE Europe, and this new station indicates a wide hiatus in its distribution area. A complete description based on the new materials, some remarks about its taxonomiacal status, habitat and chorology are given. The only station so far known in Spain is seriously threatened as jt is situated in the proximity of a farming land.
