Neotypification of the name Vicia aphylla C. Sm. ex Buch, with a specimen from the Jens Wilken Hornemann’s old personal herbarium, deposited in the Natural History Museum of Denmark (C), is presented. In addition, the convenience of using this name instead of Vicia cirrhosa C. Sm. ex Webb & Berthel. is discussed.
