Pedicularis sect. Rostratae, new interspecific hybrids, new variety, PyreneesAbstract
We describe here two new nothospecies and a new variety of Pedicularis sect. Rostratae from the Pyrenean range: P. ×pallidiflora (P. pyrenaica × P. tuberosa), P. ×aranensis (P. mixta × P. praetermissa) and P. ×pallidiflora var. palearensis. Apart from the formal descriptions, we provide data on its distribution, ecology and abundance. Another Pyrenean hybrid of the same Section, P. ×monnieri (P. kerneri × P. pyrenaica) was described a century ago, but at present only the type material, collected at the beginning of the 19th century, is known. These are the only nothotaxa of Pedicularis known at present from the Pyrenees.
